In this six-week course, learn the fundamentals of writing SNL-style comedy sketches. From theory and format to pitching and writing, this supportive class will hone your comedic writing skills. Six Thursdays, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, starting May 29th. (Enrollment: $300)

In this 6-week course, learn the fundamentals of writing SNL-style sketch comedy. Unleash your comedic genius with Howdy Stranger!
Understand the theory of what makes a good sketch and how to make your audience laugh.
Pitch ideas and gain experience providing constructive feedback—and receiving it—in a mutually supportive environment.
Hone your writing skills while learning how to properly format a script.
Walk away with a packet of at least 2-3 professional sketches, ready to entertain.
Please bring a fully charged laptop to class. If a computer is not available to you, bring paper and pens instead.
