Ryan Huban Founder | writer | performer Ryan first learned improv in high school and has since studied comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, The Magnet Theater, and Armando Diaz Studios. He has appeared on stage as a stand-up comic and performed in countless improv shows over the years, with groups that include “Out of Order” in NJ and “Flea Flurkus” in NYC. Ryan founded Pratt Institute’s comedy club, “Up Top Playerz,” where he taught improvisation and produced and directed comedic plays, including The Bald Soprano, The Actor’s Nightmare, and For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls. Before all this, Ryan used to be involved with community theater, but he kept changing his character’s lines to make them funnier. Improv has satiated Ryan’s discord with playwrights. |

Petaluma ValeMusician Petaluma is a singer-songwriter, harpist, and poet. She has written and performed her own solo material since 2000, and has also been a harpist and backing vocalist for the Boston-based, darkwave jazz band, Jaggery, since 2007. She is delighted to lend a hand or voice to the Strangers when the chance arises. Once upon a time, she was briefly a stowaway member of “Up Top Playerz.” Now, however, she feels she does better contributing to the improv theater experience as an audience member with a surprisingly loud and obnoxious laugh coming from a small and soft-spoken person.
